Leala Dunn
Urban Farm Manager | Sustainable Food & Garden Educator
Leala Dunn is a creative professional, urban farmer, and wellness advocate based in Melbourne, Florida. Her love of agriculture began in her grandmother’s garden, where tasting a freshly picked cucumber sparked an appreciation for growing food that has stayed with her throughout her life.
Today, Leala is the Urban Farm Manager at Yellow Dog Café’s urban farm, where she grows food from seed to chef for the South Brevard community. Her passion is helping individuals and businesses discover practical, sustainable ways to grow more of their own food and reconnect with where their food comes from.
Leala offers:
• Fresh, locally grown produce directly from the garden
• Seedlings and starter plants
• Urban farming and sustainable food education
• Rent-A-Garden, helping people grow food at home or in office settings
• Garden and growing support
• An indoor Garden Event Center for community and private events
Her background also includes Chinese herbal studies, experience as a CNA, and more than 12 years in nutrition-focused wellness education with Juice Plus, where she achieved the title of National Marketing Director in 2023. This combination of agriculture, nutrition, wellness, and community education shapes her whole-person approach to healthier living.
A creative at heart and lifelong advocate for personal growth, Leala brings resilience, curiosity, and an adventurous spirit to her work. Whether she’s tending the garden, helping someone begin growing food of their own, or connecting the community around sustainable living, her goal is to make healthier choices feel accessible, empowering, and enjoyable.
